How to cook Born & Bred Beef Rump

Take it out of the fridge 20–30 minutes before cooking

Pat dry, oil the meat (not the pan) and season with salt and pepper

Sear in a very hot pan or on the barbecue for 3–4 minutes each side for medium-rare, depending on thickness

Rest for 5 minutes, then slice across the grain for the most tender result

Storage

Keep refrigerated and use by the date on the pack. Can be frozen on the day of purchase.
